Villa photography in Bali is a 30-minute shoot of your villa or hotel, from $290, covering the key rooms and the pool, with 15+ edited photos delivered within 48–72 hours. It is built for owners, managers and agencies who list on booking platforms or sell through their own website, where the first photo decides whether a guest clicks. Half an hour captures the frames a listing leads with: the main bedroom, the living area, the pool and a detail or two. For every bedroom and bathroom, the kitchen and garden, and the house lit up at dusk, add extra hours at $100 each.

The schedule follows the sun. Interiors are shot in the afternoon, when daylight through the windows is even and the garden outside is not blown out; exteriors and the pool are shot when the sun is behind the camera, so the water reads turquoise rather than grey. The twilight set, booked with an extra hour, comes last: in Bali the sun sets around six all year, and the short window just after sunset, with every light in the villa on and a glow left in the sky, gives the image most listings lead with. In the wet season, November to March, we keep a weather day in reserve for exteriors.

Preparation makes the result. Before we arrive, the villa should be cleaned and staged as for a check-in: beds made tight, towels folded, personal items, cables and cleaning supplies out of sight, pool cleaned that morning and every bulb working. The photographer shoots for straight verticals and natural colour, then edits each frame so the rooms look true to what guests will find. 15+ edited photos arrive within 48–72 hours, sized for listings and your website. For the setting — beach, rice fields, how close the shops are — add aerial frames with the property drone shoot.

Frequently asked questions: Villa & hotel photography

How should we prepare the villa?

Treat it as check-in day for your most demanding guest. Make the beds with crisp white linen, clear every surface of chargers, remotes and toiletries, and hide bins and cables. Clean the pool and skim the leaves an hour before, and turn off the pool cleaner. Replace dead bulbs and have fresh flowers or fruit ready. Staff and scooters should be out of the frame.

What time does the shoot start?

The thirty-minute package is shot in bright daylight, when interiors and the pool look their best. If you add extra hours for the full set, we start in the afternoon and finish at twilight: the pool and garden as the sun drops, the exterior in the twenty minutes after sunset, when the sky is deep blue and the lamps glow. In the wet season we keep a second date in hand, because an afternoon storm ends the twilight frame.

Can you add aerial photos of the villa?

Yes, with the drone add-on, or book the Property drone shoot if you also need a video. Whether we can fly depends on where the villa is: parts of Kuta, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua and Sanur lie within the restricted airspace around Ngurah Rai airport. Send us the map pin when you book and we check it before confirming.
