The route
We start with a walk-through and the shot list agreed beforehand, and confirm which room has the best view — that room is photographed first and most carefully. Each interior is shot from a corner at standing-chest height, bracketed so the bay through the window and the shadows inside can be blended into one natural frame; we open curtains, switch on bedside lamps and straighten the linen as we go. Then the bathroom, if it has a window or an outdoor shower, because guests ask about them here. The last ten minutes belong to the pool or terrace: a low frame across the water with the islands behind, and a wider one that shows how the property sits on the hillside. With extra hours we cover the remaining rooms, the restaurant and common areas, and stay for the twenty minutes after sunset, when the sky over the bay goes deep blue, the pool lights glow and the harbour below lights up.
