Before the day we agree a short shot list — wide establishing frames, detail shots, close portraits, a few in motion — so the half-hour produces a set that holds together on a grid instead of a dozen variations of one pose.
Canggu and Seminyak are the natural base: cafés with good light, rice-field paths a few minutes from Batu Bolong, surf beaches, beach clubs and painted walls. The base half-hour works one of them properly; an extra hour ($100) lets you string two or three together. Ubud adds jungle cafés, temple gates and terraces for a softer look. Many cafés welcome a short shoot if you order and ask first, while beach clubs and resorts may charge or require notice for professional cameras, so we check ahead. Morning light suits interiors and terraces; the beach is best in the last hour before sunset. In the wet season, mornings are the safer slot.
Vertical crops are made for each selected frame so nothing important is cut off at 4:5 for the feed or 9:16 for Stories; colour is graded consistently across the set to match your existing grid if you send a few examples. The half-hour fits one or two looks — more looks take an extra hour ($100) — so plan them by colour against the location. If you also need video, the reel add-on films short vertical clips during the same session. The 15+ photos and their crops arrive within 48–72 hours, with express 24-hour delivery as an option.

Can we shoot inside cafés and beach clubs?
Most cafés in Canggu and Seminyak are fine with a short shoot if you order something and keep out of other guests’ way. Beach clubs are stricter: many ask for permission in advance for professional cameras, and some require a minimum spend or a reserved daybed. We suggest places we know are relaxed about it, and keep a street location nearby in case one says no.
Can you film reels at the same time?
Yes, with the reel add-on: short vertical clips are filmed between the photographs on the same route, then edited into one reel. If video matters as much as the stills — several reels, voice-over, transitions — book the separate Reels & TikTok shoot instead, because filming properly needs its own time and attention rather than a few seconds between frames.
