The route
Before the day we agree a shot list with you, room by room, because there is no popping back for a forgotten lens on an island without cars. The photographer arrives with the kit on a bicycle or cart, and the first ten minutes go on the exterior and pool while the light is soft: the pool from the corner that shows the most water, the bungalows or villa behind it, the daybeds and the garden. Then inside — the main bedroom from the doorway and from the bed towards the view, the outdoor bathroom that guests love on the Gilis, the terrace with its table laid. The last frames are context: the gate, the lane, and if the beach is within a minute’s walk, a frame from the sand looking back. With extra hours ($100 each) we cover every room type and stay for twilight, when lights inside and the pool glowing are what make a listing stand out.
