The route
We agree the shot list by message first: which rooms earn bookings, what the listing currently lacks. On the day, the photographer walks the villa before unpacking, then works in the order of the light. The pool and garden come first while the sun is high enough to make the water turquoise and the walls do not throw shadows across it. Then the living area, shot from the corners with the doors open so the room and the pool read as one space, followed by the master bedroom and its bathroom. Each frame is bracketed and blended later. With an extra hour we cover the remaining bedrooms and details, then wait for twilight — about fifteen to twenty minutes after sunset — to shoot the exterior with every light on and the pool glowing.
