The route
Before the day you send three or four reels you like, and we return a one-page plan: what happens in each reel, where, and roughly how long each shot lasts. A typical Canggu plan stays in the Batu Bolong area for the half hour. We open on the lane down to the beach — a gimbal walking behind you with a board under your arm, a close shot of feet on hot sand, a cut on the moment you step into the light. On the beach, the board racks and the line of surfers give depth while we film the hook shots each reel needs in its first second. Then the waterline at golden hour: slow-motion runs into the wash, a turn to camera, a wide closing shot with the sun low over the sea. If one reel is for a business — a surf lesson, a class, a menu — we film it on location while the light is still bright. With an extra hour ($100) we add a paddy lane in Babakan or a café interior to the mix.
