The route
The three concepts are agreed before the day, so on location nothing is improvised. Reel one is the reveal: we walk the last stretch of path from behind you on a gimbal, timed so the headland opens up as you step to the railing — usually three or four takes, waiting for gaps in the people. Reel two is a transition: the same move filmed in two outfits, or a jump cut from the car park to the edge, matched so the cut lands on a step or a turn of the head. Reel three is the wind: slow-motion hair and fabric on the ridge path with the headland behind, plus close cut-aways — hands on the railing, feet in the dust, the beach far below — that give the edit its rhythm. With an extra hour, a second spot on the west coast adds variety.
