The route
The videographer meets you at the beach about forty-five minutes before sunset and starts with movement rather than poses: the two of you walking towards the camera on a gimbal, running into the shallows, a slow spin with the light behind you. Then closer, quieter shots — hands, foreheads together, a whisper — recorded with a small microphone so a line or a laugh can open the film. Slow-motion clips of the wash around your ankles and wide frames with the sky turning orange come last. With an extra hour ($100), we film an opening at your villa first — getting ready, a toast by the pool — and a short scooter ride, helmets on, through the lanes towards the sea, so the film has a beginning, a journey and an ending.
