The route
We film in the order the edit will need. First the establishing shots, while the boat is still under way towards the anchorage: the bow cutting through water, the wake, the two of you as small figures against the islands, shot from the upper deck on a gimbal. Once anchored, the intimate middle: close shots at the bow — fingers laced, a forehead kiss, a whispered line — with the engine off so the natural sound of water can sit under the music. Then movement: walking the length of the deck towards the camera, one of you leading the other by the hand, a spin at the bowsprit with the skirt catching the wind. The final minutes are for the ending — a long, slow shot of you watching the sun drop behind the islands, held until the light goes. With an extra hour, a tender ride to a beach near the anchorage adds a second scene, barefoot on sand in the afterglow.
