The route

The pilot launches from the access road and first shoots straight down over the plot from a few heights, which gives the clearest picture of its shape and slope. Then oblique frames from each side, including the one buyers ask for most: the plot in the foreground with the sea beyond, showing what a future villa would see. Context comes next: a higher climb to show the distance to the nearest beach and the road leading in. For the video, the pilot flies a slow approach from the coast to the plot and a rising reveal from the plot to the view. A finished villa follows the same order, with the pool and roof as the focus.

The timing

Plots and villas want different light. A bare plot reads best in high, even light — late morning, before the trade wind builds — when shadows are short and the shape of the land is clear. A finished villa looks its best in the low light of early morning or late afternoon, when the roofline casts a shape and the pool glows. Season matters for land: in the dry season, July to October, hillsides turn brown and plots look barren; from about February to May they are green, which sells better and shows the vegetation honestly. Can the photos show the plot boundaries?

We frame the plot around the markers you or your agent show us on the ground, so its extent is clear in the pictures. But aerial photos are not a land survey and should not be used as one; for legal boundaries, rely on the land certificate and a licensed surveyor.

Is our property within the airport no-fly zone?

Possibly, if it is between Praya and Kuta or close to the Mandalika area. Send us the pin before booking and we check it against the airspace rules for your date. If flying is not permitted, we tell you before you pay rather than on the day.

We also need interior photos. Is that included?

No, this is an aerial service. For interiors, book villa photography (from $290 for the key rooms and the pool) on the same day; the two are planned together, so the ground and aerial sets match in light and style.

Our property is in Sekotong or Senggigi. Can you come?

Yes. Send the address so we can confirm the plan and any travel beyond the area booked before you pay. If the pilot crosses from Bali, the island-transfer add-on ($90) covers it. Photos arrive in 48–72 hours and the video in 5–7 days wherever the property is.
