The route
You choose the dress from photos when you book, and it arrives with the photographer, already pressed. We meet at your villa or at the Batu Belig beach entrance about forty-five minutes before sunset; you change there, and the train is carried folded to the sand so it stays clean. On the beach the photographer reads the breeze first and positions you so it blows the fabric away from you, along the shore rather than into your face. The train is thrown from just out of frame and the photographer catches it at the peak, over and over, while you hold one pose. Then we move onto the shining wet sand for the reflection frames, walk into the shallow wash for the train floating on the water, and finish with a silhouette against the last of the sun.
