The route
We meet at the car park below the headland, where you change in the car or behind a sarong screen — the walk up is ten minutes on grass, so you climb in trainers with the dress gathered over your arm. On the ridge we find the line where the wind is steady and the slope drops away behind you, so the sea fills the frame rather than the path. The assistant stands downwind, spreads the train, and on the photographer’s count lifts and releases it; you hold a pose for two or three throws, then shift. Ten minutes in, we turn you into the wind for frames where the dress streams behind like a flag. The last minutes are close portraits with the fabric wrapped around you. On a calm day, we move to the beach and use your walking for movement.
