The route
Weeks before, we look at the villa plan with your planner and set the ceremony so that the sun comes from the side: the couple lit warmly, the guests not staring into it, and the garden or pool behind you rather than the neighbour’s wall. On the day, the 30 minutes are built tightly around the ceremony itself — the processional, the vows and the rings, the kiss, the walk back down the aisle with the guests on their feet, then a few minutes of portraits at the edge of the lawn or in the lane outside, among frangipani and stone walls. With extra hours at $100 each, the day opens up: getting ready in the villa’s rooms, details on the bed, the first look by the pool, group photos, and — the one most couples add — a ten-minute run to the sand at Pererenan for portraits at sunset while the guests have drinks, before the reception, the speeches and the first dance under festoon lights.
