The route
The film is structured like a short walk. We start in a shaded lane a few minutes from the coast: you two walking hand in hand, the camera ahead and then behind, close shots of hands, feet in sand and a glance between you, with the sound of the island under it. Then you come out onto the beach facing Gili Meno, and the frame opens up — the moment of arrival that usually becomes the opening of the film. On the sand we let you talk and wander rather than pose, filming longer takes that the edit can breathe with: a slow walk along the waterline, a spin, you sitting together as the sky changes. The last minutes are the sun going down behind the islands, filmed partly vertical for the teaser. With an extra hour ($100), we add a second scene — breakfast on your terrace or a cycle ride — for a film that covers a day.
