The route
You board in the dark in sportswear, with the gown and suit in garment bags and hair and make-up already done if you added the artist. The climb is made in trainers; the outfit goes on at the top, where there is room to change discreetly, and the thirty minutes start the moment you are dressed. We work the ridge in a set order: the gown spread on the path with the three bays behind, shot wide from a landing above; the two of you walking towards the camera along the crest; close portraits with the sun low on your faces; and a final frame from below, with the ridge and sky behind. The train is gathered up between every move so it does not drag on the steps. With extra hours, the second look happens back on the boat: a change in the cabin, then the deck at anchor or a quiet white-sand beach later in the day when the light softens again.
