The route
The dawn version at Kali Besar runs like a short story. It opens wide: the canal, the old warehouses, the two of you small in the frame walking towards each other along the bank. Then the camera comes closer, on a gimbal, following you side by side as you walk and talk — no script, just a question we give you to discuss so the expressions are real. A pause on one of the small bridges over the canal gives the still, close moment: foreheads together, a whisper, a laugh, recorded with a small microphone if you want a line of real dialogue in the film. The ending is a pull-back from the bridge as the first sun touches the façades. Every scene is filmed in two or three takes from different angles, so the edit has room to breathe, and some shots are framed vertically for the teaser.
