The route
On Padar, the photographer travels on a different boat or simply climbs ahead of you as another visitor, and takes position on the landing above the one we have chosen for you — marked on a photo you receive beforehand. You climb, stop at the spot as if for the view, and give the agreed signal; the long lens catches everything from a distance, including your partner’s face, which is the frame that matters. When the answer is yes, the photographer walks over and the remaining time becomes a couple shoot along the ridge before the next wave of visitors arrives. On a boat, the cover story is agreed with you and the captain in advance — the photographer is introduced as someone the boat brought along to shoot the trip — and shoots landscapes from the bow until you move to the agreed spot on the upper deck as the sun drops. The couple portraits follow on deck in the warmest light of the evening.
