The route
One version we often build: Gerupuk at 4.30 pm. Look one is the harbour — you walking the wooden jetty, sitting on the bow of a long-tail boat, close details of hands, hat and sunglasses against faded paint. We shoot every set-up twice, once composed for 4:5 and once with headroom for 9:16 text. Look two, after a quick change in the car, is the road above the bay: a scooter frame, a walking frame with the seaweed farms below, a final wide shot of you small against the water as the light warms. If your feed is more urban, swap Gerupuk for Kuta’s main street and a café corner, with permission from the owner. Interiors where a business asks for a fee are yours to arrange; we tell you in advance if a spot is likely to.
