## In short

A property drone shoot in Bali costs from $390 for 30 minutes: 15+ aerial photos in 48–72 hours and a 30–60 second aerial video in 5–7 days. Canggu, Pererenan, Ubud and most of the Bukit are usually flyable; properties near the airport in Kuta, Jimbaran and parts of Nusa Dua and Sanur may not be. We check the address first.

An aerial property shoot in Bali answers one question that ground photos cannot: where exactly is this, and what is around it. The answer buyers and guests care about changes by area. In Canggu and Pererenan it is the walk to the beach and whether the rice fields next door are still rice fields. In Ubud it is the valley, the river and the jungle edge, and how private the plot is from the road. On the Bukit it is the ocean view and the distance to the surf beaches and clifftop restaurants. In Seminyak it is how the villa sits among its neighbours and how close the beach clubs are. And in the south around the airport — Kuta, Tuban, Jimbaran, parts of Nusa Dua and Sanur — the honest answer may be that we cannot fly at all. So the area decides both the shot list and whether the shoot is possible.

## How the shoot is planned

Every shoot starts with the map pin: we check the airspace for that address before you pay. On the day the pilot flies the property first — roofline, pool, garden, plot boundaries — at several heights, then the context. For a Canggu or Pererenan villa that means a line from the gate to the beach, the rice fields around it and the nearest landmark guests will recognise. For an Ubud property it is a rise from the pool to reveal the valley or river, and a frame that shows the access road honestly. For a Bukit villa it is a pull-back from the terrace over the cliff edge to the ocean, plus the nearest beach. For a plot of land, boundaries are flown top-down so they can be marked later. The 30 minutes cover one property; several in one area are scheduled back to back, each as its own booking.

## Timing

Morning is the default for property work in every area: the air is calm, the pools look fresh, rice fields are at their greenest, and fewer neighbours are outside. West-facing Bukit villas can also be flown in the hour before sunset, when the ocean is lit and the light is warm. Ubud valley properties should be flown before the ridges throw shade and before afternoon cloud. In the dry season, April to October, skies are most reliable, though wind on the Bukit cliffs can delay a flight; from November to March, plan mornings and keep a second date. The rice around Canggu and Ubud plots changes with the planting cycle, so ask what the fields will look like if green context matters.

## Frequently asked questions

### Our property is in Sanur. Can you fly there?

It depends on the exact location. Parts of Sanur fall within the restricted airspace around Ngurah Rai, and parts may not; the answer comes from the map pin, not the area name. Send it before you book and we check. If flying is not possible, villa photography from the ground with high vantage points is the fallback.

### Can you shoot several properties across Bali in one trip?

Yes, as separate bookings grouped by area: two or three Canggu villas on one morning, Ubud properties on another, the Bukit on a third. Mixing areas in one day wastes the calm morning air on driving, since Canggu to Ubud alone is one to one and a half hours. Agencies usually send us a list and we propose the schedule.

### How do you show distance to the beach honestly?

With a continuous shot from the property to the sea at a height where the route is readable, rather than a wide frame that makes everything look close. In Canggu and Pererenan that usually means following the lane past the fields; on the Bukit, the road down to the nearest beach. If the walk is fifteen minutes, the footage should look like fifteen minutes.

### Will the neighbours mind the drone?

We keep it that way by flying in the morning, when fewer people are outside, staying off neighbours’ pools and gardens, and keeping context frames high and brief. In dense areas like Seminyak, tell the neighbours or the villa manager the day before. If a neighbour objects on the day, we adjust the angle rather than argue.
