## Showing the location, not only the house

A property drone shoot in Bali is a 30-minute aerial session, from $390, delivering 15+ drone photos within 48–72 hours and a 30–60 second aerial video within five to seven days. It answers the questions that ground photos cannot: how far the villa is from the beach, what surrounds the plot, whether the rice-field view is protected or already built over, how a development sits in its neighbourhood. Agents, developers and owners use the set for listings, investor presentations and sales pages, often next to the interior photos from a villa shoot.

The shoot covers the property itself — roof, pool, garden, plot boundaries — and the context around it: the nearest beach, rice fields, roads and landmarks, shown at several heights and angles. Locations popular with buyers, from Canggu and Pererenan to the Bukit and the hills around Ubud, are mostly outside the no-fly zone around Ngurah Rai airport, but parts of south Bali are not, and we check each address before booking. Indonesian rules also restrict flying over temples and ceremonies, which matters because many plots in Bali sit next to a village temple.

Light decides how the property reads. Morning sun makes pools and roofs look fresh and shows rice fields at their greenest; the hour before sunset gives warm tones and long shadows that show terrain. Before we fly, clear vehicles and building materials from the plot, open umbrellas and switch on pool lights. The 15+ aerial photos arrive within 48–72 hours, and the 30–60 second video follows within five to seven days, ready for listings and sales pages.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can you fly over our villa in Canggu or near the airport?

Canggu, Pererenan, Ubud and the Bukit are usually fine. Properties in Kuta, Tuban, Jimbaran and parts of Nusa Dua and Sanur may fall within the restricted zone around Ngurah Rai airport, where we cannot fly. Send the map pin when you enquire and we check before you pay. We also keep the drone off neighbours’ pools and gardens and fly in the morning, when fewer guests are outside.

### Can we use the footage commercially?

Yes. The photos and video come with a licence to use them for marketing the property — rental and sale listings, your website, social media, investor decks and printed brochures. If an agency or developer will reuse them for other projects, tell us when you book and we include that in the licence. We keep the right to show a few frames in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to.
