## A short film rather than a slideshow

A couple video in Bali is 30 minutes of filming together, from $390, edited into a 60–90 second film plus a 30-second vertical teaser, delivered within five to seven days. It suits anniversaries, honeymoons and couples who want to remember how the trip moved and sounded — the wind, the laughter, the surf — rather than only how it looked. No acting is needed: the videographer gives you simple actions, a walk, a dance, a conversation, and films the moments in between, which are usually the ones that end up in the film.

Locations with movement and sound work best. The Uluwatu cliffs give ocean wind and surf below; the beaches of Padang Padang and Bingin add waves at your feet; Ubud gives rice terraces, jungle and the sound of water. On the Gili Islands, a cycle ride along the beach road and a sunset swim make a natural storyline. Half an hour covers one location well; for a second spot nearby, add an extra hour ($100). Golden hour is the time to film — in Bali the sun sets around six all year — and in the wet season mornings are the safer choice.

The film is cut to music you choose from a licensed library, colour-graded and mixed so the wind and voices sit under the soundtrack; the teaser is a 9:16 cut for social media. If you want words in the film — vows renewed, a letter read aloud — tell us beforehand so we can record clean audio. Drone shots can be added with the drone add-on where flying is allowed. The film and teaser arrive as download links within five to seven days. For photos of the same evening, book the couple photoshoot alongside.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do we have to talk on camera?

Only if you want to. Most couple films are built on movement and music: walking, turning, laughing, the wind in your hair. If you would like your voices in it, we record a short conversation or letters you read to each other with a small microphone, and use a few lines over the pictures. It adds a lot, but nobody has to perform.

### Can we have photos and video on the same day?

Yes, but with two people: book the couple photoshoot alongside the video, and a photographer and a videographer work together. One person doing both gives you worse photos and worse video, because the camera angles, the pace and the light they need are different. With two of us the session stays the same length and you do not repeat every moment twice.
